This video film about hutsul wedding was being shot in November, 2008 in village Kosmach of Kosivsky region.The family of Peter Chernjaka has kindly allowed me to be present on this enchanting action. In the first part you will see as to the groom visitors gather. They arrive astride horses. The blessing ceremony begins. The groom is dressing in guglja (traditional hutsul wedding dress). Newly married with participants of the action thrice bypass round his parents. Throughout this ritual we hear hutsul songs, and sometimes, even, kolomyjky (facetious national songs). In the second part - action continuation. Ancient ritual intertwines with playful kolomyjka. It is extremely interesting! The third part - horse procession towards to the bride.During this stage of shootings I have been compelled to run much mountain footpaths, it would be desirable to be in time everywhere because understood, that such case not always drops out to shoot a similar film. Because of such big physical activities I am strongly tired. The following two days I was lying in the bed because muscles awfully were ill. But I was happy! One year has almost passed, but I like to look till now this film. I am extremely grateful to family Chernjakiv for the given possibility to see real gutsul wedding!
